Honarary Life Member Betsy Carpenter passed away 2009.
Her contribution to the Cooktown School of Art Society and Elizabeth Guzsely gallery extended over decades. She ran yoga classes and donated the proceeds to the art society. He paintings were for sale in the gallery and she won awards in annual exhibitions. As a valuable and much appreciated member Betsy will be missed.
